2 Today’s Sermon MEMORY VERSE ANNOUNCEMENT 성경 말씀 : Jonah ( 요나 ). ** 새로운 친구들을 주님의 이름으로 환영합니다 ** 1. 바나바 어린이 교육이 다음주 1 시 30 분에서 2 시까지 초등부 선생님실에서 있습니다. 바나바는 사울을 예루살렘 교회에 소개시켜 주고 사울이 예루살렘 교회에 잘 적응 할 수 있도록 도와 주었던 착한 사람입니다. 바나바 어린이들은 바나바를 본 받아 새 친구들을 예수님의 사랑과 친절로 한마음 초등부에 잘 정착할 수 있도록 돕는 역할을 하게 될 것 입니다. We are recruiting volunteers for the Barnabas group. Barnabas (Son of Encouragement in Hebrew) was kind and faithful, loved others, and greatly encouraged everyone - especially Paul. He helped Paul getting to know people and place at the church in Jerusalem. The Barnabas group members will welcome newcomers and help them feel comfortable in our church through love and grace of the Lord Jesus Christ. 2.. 에쿠아도르에서 2 주동안 단기선교를 하고 있는 Joanna Cho 선생님의 건강과 사역을 잘 마치고 무사히 돌아올 수있도록 기도해 주세요. We prayerfully lift up the mission team to Ecuador and ask that they succeed in your mission. You are a forgiving God, gracious and compassionate. Nehemiah 9:17 God spoke to Jonah, “Go to Nineveh! Preach against their wickedness.” Jonah did not go to Nineveh. Instead, he fled God in the opposite direction. Jonah boarded a ship going to Tarshish. He went down into the lowest part of the ship. God caused a violent storm on the sea. Heavy waves threatened the ship. The sailors said to Jonah, “Tell us who is to blame for this trouble we are in!” Jonah explained that he was running away from God. “What should we do to calm this sea?” the sailors asked. Jonah answered, “Pick me up, and throw me into the sea.” As soon as the sailors threw Jonah into the sea, the wind and waves became calm. God sent a big fish to swallow Jonah. Jonah spent three days inside the big fish. Then the fish vomited Jonah out dry ground! Again God sent Jonah to Nineveh. Jonah spent three days walking through and told God’s words. The people believed God and repented. Jonah was angry that God had forgiven the Ninevites. Because they repented, God chose not to overthrow the city. God cause a plant to grow and give Jonah shade. The next day God sent a worm to eat the plant. When the sun shone down, Jonah was angry at God. God said, “You cared about a plant for which you did nothing. Shouldn’t I care about the people of Nineveh?” “ 너는 니느웨로 가서 죄로부터 멀어지지 않으면 심판 받을 것이라는 내 말을 전해라 ” 하나님께서 요나에게 니느웨성에 사서 하나님의 말씀을 전하라고 명령하셨습니다. 그러나 요나는 하나님의 말씀에 불순종하여 정반대의 섬으로 가려고 배를 탔습니다. 그러나 풍랑으로 인해 바다에 떨어진 요나는 물고기 뱃속에서 삼 일간을 지내게 되었습니다. 삼일후 하나님께서 요나를 큰 물고기가 토해내게 하셔 육지로 돌아온 요나는 도리 없이 니느웨로 가야만 했습니다. 요나가 하나님의 명령을 거역한 것은 이스라엘에 가장 큰 적대적 세력인 니느웨가 하나님의 진노로 멸망되었으면 했고, 또한 이스라엘만이 오직 하나님의 복을 받아야 한다는 편협한 생각 때문이었습니다. “40 일이 지나면 악의 도시인 니느웨가 무너지리라 ”( 욘 3:4) 요나는 하나님의 심판을 니느웨성에 전했습니다. 그러자 니느웨 사람들이 금식하면서 죄를 회개하기 시작했습니다. 게다가 니느웨의 왕은 모든 백성들이 악에서 떠날 것까지 명령하였습니다. 하나님께서는 니느웨 사람들에게재앙을 내리지 않기로 하셨습니다. 하나님께서는 요나를 뜨거운 햇볕으로부터 가려주기 위해 박 넝쿨을 준비해주셨습니다. 그러나 다음날 벌레들이 박 넝쿨을 갉아먹자 넝쿨의 그늘이 사라졌습니다. 요나는 박 넝쿨이 사라지자 하나님께 화를 내었습니다. 하나님께서는 니느웨 백성을 요나가 박 넝쿨을 사랑하는 것조다 훨씬 더 사랑함을 말씀하여 주셨습니다.
