DROP-IN GALLERY EXPLORATION Gallery Spot: Silk the exhibition Fish, Silk, Tea, Bamboo
DROP-IN ART ACTIVITIES Springy Snakes Snake Train! : the chance to collaborate on the creation of a large snake sculpture using silk fabric and ribbons. DEMONSTRATION Snakes! : a demonstration of live snakes big and small with our friends from Curious Creatures. PERFORMANCES Lion Dance : Gund Kwok Asian Women Lion and Dragon Dance Troupe return to PEM to kick off the celebration. Diabolo, Drumming & Folk Dances : traditional dances to celebrate the New Year, and performs tricks with the diabolo, the traditional Chinese yo-yo. STORYTELLING Tales of the New Year : lively stories of the Lunar New Year zodiac and sings traditional Chinese rhymes and songs.
