2 목 적목 적 - 제주남부의 지형특성 파악 통한 국지예보 정확도 향상 서귀포기상대 Seogwipo Weather Station - 중규모적으로 발생하는 풍하측 국지강풍 (downslopc windstorm) 사전 파악으로 발빠른 특보 대응 - 지형풍의 기상특성 사례를 분석. 공유함으로써 유사시 악기상 조기 대처 ( 지형풍 = 해륙풍 + 산곡풍 + 중력풍 ) Downslope Wind

3 정 의정 의 - 밀도차 ( 중력 ) 에 의해 경사면 아래로 부는 바람으로 - 활강바람 [katabatic wind] 또는 중력풍 (gravity wind) 에 일종이 며, 산꼭대기에서, 또는 산을 넘어 내리부는 바람 서귀포기상대 Seogwipo Weather Station - 고원 ( 高原 ) 의 지표가 냉각되면 무거운 공기는 지형을 따라 하강 ( 열적대류로 야간에 발생 ) - 기압경도력과 반대방향으로의 부력이 작용하고, 활강바람이 더 무거운 공기 속으로 하강하는 동안에는 수축에 의해 온도가 상 승하고 밀도가 커져 풍속을 가속시킴. 25 요약 결과 - Downslope Wind = 하강풍 ( 중력풍 ) + 와도 ( 역류 ) - 고기압 하층 발산역에서 야간에 발생하는 미기상적인 특성으로 Downslope Wind 지속시간은 약 3-4 시간내에서 강약을 반복하며 발생.( 풍상측과 풍하측의 종관기상 차이 ) - Downslope 는 ridge line 수직의 30 도 범위내 지형 맞은편에서 발 생되고, 고원 ( 高原 ) 에서 하강풍 7-15m/s 의 풍속이 가속될때 발 생율이 높음.(Durran.D.R 1990 년 : 대기과정 정상 복잡한 지형 ) 서귀포기상대 Seogwipo Weather Station Downslope Wind - Downslope 는 고원 ( 高原 ) 에서 NW 풍 유입시 제주남부지역으로만 나 타나는 국지바람으로써 서귀포지역은 하강풍과 각속도가 클때 풍속세기가 강함. - Downslope Wind 는 서고동저형 형태에서 풍하측에서 발생하며, 연 직으로 풍속이 강할때 서귀포지역으로 강풍이 유입되고 있음.
