2 집사는 언제 등장하는 가? (Acts 6:1-3) "Just as the office of pastor is a calling of God and ordained by God, so is the officer of deacon. Just as the pastor must show leadership qualities and set an example in the church, so must the deacon." (Donat Dion)

3 The word diakonos, deacon, minister, servant, slave refers to service rendered without regard to the "identity" or quality of the person rendering it. 집사는 사역자, 또는 하인이라는 겸손의 자세를 가진 자로서 아무런 지위나 칭찬의 보상을 기대하지 않고 하나님의 사역을 위하여 봉사하는 자를 의미한다.

4 General qualifications
- Sound in doctrine (Rom 16:17) 복음주의 신학 Faithful in service and attendance (1Cor4:1-2) 예배와 봉사에 신실한 자 - Pure and holy in lifestyle (1Thes 4:7) 경건한 생활 Consistent in daily living (1Cor 10:31) 하나님 영광을 위한 삶 Committed to the church's philosophy of ministry (Ps133:1-3) 교회의 목회 철학에 헌신할 수 있는 자

5 Their function. The deacon is one of two New Testament offices
(Phil 1:1) the other being bishops,elders (Pastors) 신약성경에 등장하는 두 종류의 인정된 리더. To free the pastor to pray and the ministry of the Word (Acts 6:4) (free to, not free from) 목사님이 말씀과 기도에 전무할 수 있도록 To promote and protect church harmony, working toward the unity of the church among the brethren. 교회의 단합과 형제사이의 연합을 도모하기 위하여

6 To further the welfare of the membership and the business of the church. 교인들을 돌보며 교회의 사역을 증진하기 위하여
To strengthen the leadership of the church toward spiritual and numerical growth. 교회의 리더쉽을 세우고 영적, 육적 발전을 위하여 to engage in actively spreading the gospel of Christ. 그리스도의 복음이 효과적으로 전파되게 하기 위하여

7 General responsiblities.
 Deacons must uphold all qualifications of the office. 집사는 교회지도자의 조건을 충족해야 한다.  Deacons must be faithful in attendance of the office 집사는 교회의 모든 공식모임에 참여해야 한다.  Deacons must assist the pastor with the ordinances of the church - Baptism, the Lord's supper. 집사는 침례식, 성찬식의 모든 준비에 목사를 도와주어야 한다.

8 Deacons must remain silent about business discussed in deacons‘ s meetings 집사는 교회 제직 회의의 결정에 대하여 소문을 내고 다니면 안된다.  Deacons must be willing to constantly serve as an example 집사는 지속적으로 교회의 영적인 지도자의 모습으로 발전시키는 노력을 해야한다.  Deacons must work under the pastor's direction in serving the Lord through the church 집사는 주님을 섬기는 모든 목사의 결정에 대하여 함께 일해야 한다.

9 maintenance of the properties. 교회의 재산을 관리한다.
supervision of some church programs 교회의 여러 프로그램을 맡아서 감독해야 한다. caring for sick and elderly 병자와 노인들을 보살피며 아낀다.

1. 가서 (Go) 2. 침례주고 (Baptize) 3. 가르쳐 지키게 (Teach) 4. 하나님 사랑 (Love God) 5. 이웃사랑( Love neighbor) 6. 지원 사역 (Support Ministries)

12 가서 (Go = evangelism)  Where is the direction for the lost soul that we can catch? 우리가 갈 수 있는 곳은 어디인가?  Angel tree ministry. 죄소자의 자녀 돕기  Prison fellowship ministry 죄소자를 돕기  Goguma evangelism school 고구마 전도학교  Shut in ministry 식은 고구마를 어떻게 건질까?

13 Internet evangelism (How can we improve our PKBC website?)
인터넷을 통한 전도사역을 어떻게 효과적으로 Bus evangelism for senior and youth 차량봉사 Is college evangelism possible at CNU? 학원사역의 가능성은?

14 Do we evaluate our evangelism program? 전도프로그램의 재평가는 어떻게 할 수 있을까?
Do we have any information brochure to introduce our church? 교회를 제대로 소개할 수 있는 프로그램은? Where are many lost soul? and which way we can approach to them? 어디에 많은 잃어버린 영혼이 있으며 그들이 우리에게 오기를 기다리기 보다, 어떻게 우리가 다가갈 수 있을까?

15 침례주고 (Baptize= fellowship)
Which department will be charge of new member first? 교회의 새신자반을 누가 할 것인가? How do we introduce them to take membership class? 새신자반 교실을 권장하는 방법은? How do we communicate them with comfort? 자연스럽게 새신자를 교인으로 이끌 수 있는 방법은?

16 What is the role of church officers about leading more people to be baptized? 침례에 더 많이 순종하게 하기 위한 교회지도자의 역활은? What will be better idea about house visitation ministry? 교회의 심방을 효과적으로 하기위한 방법은? Do we have blind spot in our ministry? 우리교회에는 숨어 지낼수 있는 빈공간이 있는가?

21 하나님 사랑 (Loving God= worship)
Are we ready for service before 15 minutes? 예배는 15분전에 준비되어 있는 가? What will be good for our prelude of service for 15 minutes? 예배 15분전의 전주는 어떻게? How we get rid of distraction in service? 예배의 집중을 방해하는 요소는? How we encourage members not to be late for service? 예배에 지각하는 사람들을 줄어들게 하는 창조적인 방법은?

24 이웃 사랑 (Loving Neighbor = Service)
How do we care lonely people, such as single mom, old widow, and old people? 소외된 이웃을 어떻게 보살필 수 있을까? How do we help more for homeless people? 노숙자를 도울 수 있는 방법은? How do we help our community? 지역공동체를 돕는 법은? How do we help poor student who need encouragement? 불우학생을 도울 수 있는 방법은? Do we have prayer hour for desperate people who need our help? 이웃들을 위하여 중보기도하는 방법은?

25 결론. Conclusion These are not few people's job. No one pastor can accomplish all these plan, executive work, and evaluation by himself. 목사 한명이나 몇 사람의 힘으로 이 모든 사역을 완성할 수 없다. Team ministry can produce all the work to be efficient. church officers should have enough knowledge and creative idea for their job. 팀사역은 교회의 모든 사역을 효과적으로 가능케 할 수 있다. 교회의 지도자는 각자의 사역의 현장에 있어야 하고 충분한 지식으로 교육되어 있어야 한다.

26 Church officers should work together to keep the balance
Church officers should work together to keep the balance. Power is coming from balance in six ministries. 교회의 지도자는 함께 일할 수 있는 균형을 지켜야 한다. 여섯가지 사역 모두 중요하며 힘은 사역의 균형에서 나온다. Creative ministries is coming from question, and prayer first. 창조적인 사역은 질문과 그리고 기도를 통하여 이어진다. Spirituality and profession should work together in church. 영성과 전문성은 함께 가야 한다.
