5 재료 및 방법 1. 연구 기간 : 1999. 12 ~ 2000. 4 IDA (n = 29) non-IDA (n = 39)
2. IDA : Hb < 11 g/dL, ferritin < m 27 g/dL < f 10 g/dL non-IDA : Hb < 11 g/dL, ferritin 정상이상 ( WBC 10,000 이상은 제외) 3. Smear 관찰 : 2명의 기사가 1,000개의 RBC count

13 고찰 1. ACD 환자에 비해 IDA 환자에서 elliptocyte와 schistocyte의 의미 있는 증가가 관찰되었다.
그러나 ACD 군에서도 elliptocyte 1% 이상인 경우가 30%로 관찰됨 (결과값 제시 안함). IDA의 지표로 elliptocyte의 유용성이 떨어짐.

16 요 약 1. ACD 환자에 비해 IDA 환자에서 elliptocytes와 schistocytes의 의미있는 증가가 관찰되었다.
2. IDA의 정도 (Hb, MCV, Iron, TIBC, Ferritin)와 poikilocytosis와의 상관성은 관찰되지 않았다. 1) 본 연구의 문제점 - 적은 IDA 환자수 - 좁은 Hb 분포 - 수혈의 효과를 고려하지 않음 2) 향후 많은 IDA 환자군을 대상으로 추후 평가 요망
