2 IPPB 정의 간헐적 양압 환기 (IPPB)는 압력 주기 호흡기를 이용해서 대기압보다 높은 압력에서 폐로 공기나 산소를 투여하는 것이다.  환자가 흡기를 시작할 때 , 호흡기는 습화된 가스를 양압을 이용해서 폐로 보낸다. 사전에 설정된 압력에 도달하면 호흡기는 닫히면서 수동적으로 호기가 일어나게 된다.

5 Incentive Spirometry 사용목적: 심호흡을 강화시키는것 적용: 무기폐(폐포 허탈)
무기폐로 진행될 가능성이 높은 사람. 흉곽및 상복부 수술후 만성 호흡기 질환,신경근육질환, 비만,흡연,부동상태, 분비물 축적이 심한 사람. 의식이 있고 협조적,지시사항을 이해할수 있어야 한다.

Treatment of atelectasis not responsive to other therapies, (e.g., IS and CPT) 분비물이 적당하게 제거되지 않는 경우 ventilation 제한 비 효과적인 기침

7 IPPB Indications 과 탄산증 환자를 위한 Short-term nonivasive ventilatory support. Alternative to intubation and continuous ventilatory support

When nebulizer has been unsuccessful 호흡근육이 약하거나 피로한 경우

Tension pneumothorax ICP > 15 mm Hg 혈역학적 불안정 Recent facial, oral or skull surgery
