2 1장-4장 5장-6장

3 먼저 말씀대로 행해야(=순종해야) 선지자도 도울 수 있고… 하나님도 도울 수 있는 것이다.
에스라 5장 1 선지자들 곧 선지자 학개와 잇도의 손자 스가랴가 이스라엘의 하나님의 이름으로 유다와 예루살렘에 거주하는 유다 사람들에게 예언하였더니 2 이에 스알디엘의 아들 스룹바벨과 요사닥의 아들 예수아가 일어나 예루살렘에 있던 하나님의 성전을 다시 건축하기 시작하매 하나님의 선지자들이 함께 있어 그들을 돕더니 5:1 Now Haggai the prophet and Zechariah the prophet, a descendant of Iddo, prophesied to the Jews in Judah and Jerusalem in the name of the God of Israel, who was over them. 5:2 Then Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel and Jeshua son of Jozadak set to work to rebuild the house of God in Jerusalem. And the prophets of God were with them, helping them. 먼저 말씀대로 행해야(=순종해야) 선지자도 도울 수 있고… 하나님도 도울 수 있는 것이다.

4 기도만 하고 순종의 자리로 나아가지 않기 때문이다.
에스라 5장 3 그 때에 유브라데 강 건너편 총독 닷드내와 스달보스내와 그들의 동관들이 다 나아와 그들에게 이르되 누가 너희에게 명령하여 이 성전을 건축하고 이 성곽을 마치게 하였느냐 하기로 4 우리가 이 건축하는 자의 이름을 아뢰었으나 5 하나님이 유다 장로들을 돌보셨으므로 그들이 능히 공사를 막지 못하고 이 일을 다리오에게 아뢰고 그 답장이 오기를 기다렸더라5:3 At that time Tattenai, governor of Trans-Euphrates, and Shethar-Bozenai and their associates went to them and asked, "Who authorized you to rebuild this temple and restore this structure?“ 5:4 They also asked, "What are the names of the men constructing this building?“ 5:5 But the eye of their God was watching over the elders of the Jews, and they were not stopped until a report could go to Darius and his written reply be received. 하나님의 역사를 보지 못하는 이유는 기도만 하고 순종의 자리로 나아가지 않기 때문이다.

5 선지자들을 통해 역사를 바르게 알았기 때문이다.
왜 백성들이 담대할 수 있었는가? 선지자들을 통해 역사를 바르게 알았기 때문이다. 성경과 역사를 알아야 흔들리지 않는다.

6 페르시아제국 에스라 6장 1 이에 다리오 왕이 조서를 내려 문서창고 곧 바벨론의 보물을 쌓아둔 보물전각에서 조사하게 하여 2 메대도 악메다 궁성에서 한 두루마리를 찾았으니 거기에 기록하였으되 3 고레스 왕 원년에 조서를 내려 이르기를 예루살렘에 있는 하나님의 성전에 대하여 이르노니 이 성전 곧 제사 드리는 처소를 건축하되 지대를 견고히 쌓고 그 성전의 높이는 육십 규빗으로, 너비도 육십 규빗으로 하고 4 큰 돌 세 켜에 새 나무 한 켜를 놓으라 그 경비는 다 왕실에서 내리라 6:1 King Darius then issued an order, and they searched in the archives stored in the treasury at Babylon. 6:2 A scroll was found in the citadel of Ecbatana in the province of Media, and this was written on it: Memorandum: 6:3 In the first year of King Cyrus, the king issued a decree concerning the temple of God in Jerusalem: Let the temple be rebuilt as a place to present sacrifices, and let its foundations be laid. 7 에스라 6장 하나님의 뜻이라면 두려워 말고 행할 때 하나님이 반드시 도와주신다.
11 내가 또 명령을 내리노니 누구를 막론하고 이 명령을 변조하면 그의 집에서 들보를 빼내고 그를 그 위에 매어달게 하고 그의 집은 이로 말미암아 거름더미가 되게 하라 6:11 Furthermore, I decree that if anyone changes this edict, a beam is to be pulled from his house and he is to be lifted up and impaled on it. And for this crime his house is to be made a pile of rubble. 하나님의 뜻이라면 두려워 말고 행할 때 하나님이 반드시 도와주신다.

8 에스라 6장 자기 자신이 안 하려고 하면 하나님도 도울 길이 없다. 전도도, 성장도, 하나님의 백성으로 자라는 것도
13 다리오 왕의 조서가 내리매 유브라데 강 건너편 총독 닷드내와 스달보스내와 그들의 동관들이 신속히 준행하니라 14 유다 사람의 장로들이 선지자 학개와 잇도의 손자 스가랴의 권면을 따랐으므로 성전 건축하는 일이 형통한지라 이스라엘 하나님의 명령과 바사 왕 고레스와 다리오와 아닥사스다의 조서를 따라 성전을 건축하며 일을 끝내되 15 다리오 왕 제육년 아달월 삼일에 성전 일을 끝내니라 6:13 Then, because of the decree King Darius had sent, Tattenai, governor of Trans-Euphrates, and Shethar-Bozenai and their associates carried it out with diligence. 6:14 So the elders of the Jews continued to build and prosper under the preaching of Haggai the prophet and Zechariah, a descendant of Iddo. They finished building the temple according to the command of the God of Israel and the decrees of Cyrus, Darius and Artaxerxes, kings of Persia. 6:15 The temple was completed on the third day of the month Adar, in the sixth year of the reign of King Darius. 자기 자신이 안 하려고 하면 하나님도 도울 길이 없다. 전도도, 성장도, 하나님의 백성으로 자라는 것도 순종 없이는 자랄 길이 없다.

13 에스더 1장 2 당시에 아하수에로 왕이 수산 궁에서 즉위하고 3 왕위에 있은 지 제삼년에 그의 모든 지방관과 신하들을 위하여 잔치를 베푸니 바사와 메대의 장수와 각 지방의 귀족과 지방관들이 다 왕 앞에 있는지라 4 왕이 여러 날 곧 백팔십 일 동안에 그의 영화로운 나라의 부함과 위엄의 혁혁함을 나타내니라 1:2 At that time King Xerxes reigned from his royal throne in the citadel of Susa, 1:3 and in the third year of his reign he gave a banquet for all his nobles and officials. The military leaders of Persia and Media, the princes, and the nobles of the provinces were present. 1:4 For a full 180 days he displayed the vast wealth of his kingdom and the splendor and glory of his majesty.

14 에스더 1장 5 이 날이 지나매 왕이 또 도성 수산에 있는 귀천간의 백성을 위하여 왕궁 후원 뜰에서 칠 일 동안 잔치를 베풀새… 9 왕후 와스디도 아하수에로 왕궁에서 여인들을 위하여 잔치를 베푸니라 1:5 When these days were over, the king gave a banquet, lasting seven days, in the enclosed garden of the king's palace, for all the people from the least to the greatest, who were in the citadel of Susa…. 1:9 Queen Vashti also gave a banquet for the women in the royal palace of King Xerxes.

15 술은 항상 후회할 일들을 남기고 만다. 감정적인 결정은 치명적인 오점을 남긴다.
에스더 1장 20 왕의 조서가 이 광대한 전국에 반포되면 귀천을 막론하고 모든 여인들이 그들의 남편을 존경하리이다 하니라 21 왕과 지방관들이 그 말을 옳게 여긴지라 왕이 므무간의 말대로 행하여 22 각 지방 각 백성의 문자와 언어로 모든 지방에 조서를 내려 이르기를 남편이 자기의 집을 주관하게 하고 자기 민족의 언어로 말하게 하라 하였더라 1:20 Then when the king's edict is proclaimed throughout all his vast realm, all the women will respect their husbands, from the least to the greatest.“ 1:21 The king and his nobles were pleased with this advice, so the king did as Memucan proposed. 1:22 He sent dispatches to all parts of the kingdom, to each province in its own script and to each people in its own language, proclaiming in each people's tongue that every man should be ruler over his own household. 술은 항상 후회할 일들을 남기고 만다. 왜 이런 일이 벌어졌는가? 1. 술을 먹어서… 2. 화가 났을 때 감정대로 결정을 해서… 감정적인 결정은 치명적인 오점을 남긴다.

16 에스더 2장 1 그 후에 아하수에로 왕의 노가 그치매 와스디와 그가 행한 일과 그에 대하여 내린 조서를 생각하거늘 2 왕의 측근 신하들이 아뢰되 왕은 왕을 위하여 아리따운 처녀들을 구하게 하시되 2:1 Later when the anger of King Xerxes had subsided, he remembered Vashti and what she had done and what he had decreed about her. 2:2 Then the king's personal attendants proposed, "Let a search be made for beautiful young virgins for the king.

17 에스더 2장 7 그의 삼촌의 딸 하닷사 곧 에스더는 부모가 없었으나 용모가 곱고 아리따운 처녀라 그의 부모가 죽은 후에 모르드개가 자기 딸 같이 양육하더라 8 왕의 조서와 명령이 반포되매 처녀들이 도성 수산에 많이 모여 헤개의 수하에 나아갈 때에 에스더도 왕궁으로 이끌려 가서 궁녀를 주관하는 헤개의 수하에 속하니 2:7 Mordecai had a cousin named Hadassah, whom he had brought up because she had neither father nor mother. This girl, who was also known as Esther, was lovely in form and features, and Mordecai had taken her as his own daughter when her father and mother died. 2:8 When the king's order and edict had been proclaimed, many girls were brought to the citadel of Susa and put under the care of Hegai. Esther also was taken to the king's palace and entrusted to Hegai, who had charge of the harem.

18 에스더 2장 17 왕이 모든 여자보다 에스더를 더 사랑하므로 그가 모든 처녀보다 왕 앞에 더 은총을 얻은지라 왕이 그의 머리에 관을 씌우고 와스디를 대신하여 왕후로 삼은 후에 18 왕이 크게 잔치를 베푸니 이는 에스더를 위한 잔치라 모든 지방관과 신하들을 위하여 잔치를 베풀고 또 각 지방의 세금을 면제하고 왕의 이름으로 큰 상을 주니라 2:17 Now the king was attracted to Esther more than to any of the other women, and she won his favor and approval more than any of the other virgins. So he set a royal crown on her head and made her queen instead of Vashti. 2:18 And the king gave a great banquet, Esther's banquet, for all his nobles and officials. He proclaimed a holiday throughout the provinces and distributed gifts with royal liberality.

19 에스더 2장 20 에스더는 모르드개가 명령한 대로 그 종족과 민족을 말하지 아니하니 그가 모르드개의 명령을 양육 받을 때와 같이 따름이더라 21 모르드개가 대궐 문에 앉았을 때에 문을 지키던 왕의 내시 빅단과 데레스 두 사람이 원한을 품고 아하수에로 왕을 암살하려는 음모를 꾸미는 것을 22 모르드개가 알고 왕후 에스더에게 알리니 2:20 But Esther had kept secret her family background and nationality just as Mordecai had told her to do, for she continued to follow Mordecai's instructions as she had done when he was bringing her up. 2:21 During the time Mordecai was sitting at the king's gate, Bigthana and Teresh, two of the king's officers who guarded the doorway, became angry and conspired to assassinate King Xerxes. 2:22 But Mordecai found out about the plot and told Queen Esther,

20 에스더 3장 1 그 후에 아하수에로 왕이 아각 사람 함므다다의 아들 하만의 지위를 높이 올려 함께 있는 모든 대신 위에 두니 2 대궐 문에 있는 왕의 모든 신하들이 다 왕의 명령대로 하만에게 꿇어 절하되 모르드개는 꿇지도 아니하고 절하지도 아니하니 3 대궐 문에 있는 왕의 신하들이 모르드개에게 이르되 너는 어찌하여 왕의 명령을 거역하느냐 하고 4 날마다 권하되 모르드개가 듣지 아니하고 자기는 유다인임을 알렸더니 그들이 모르드개의 일이 어찌 되나 보고자 하여 하만에게 전하였더라 3:1 After these events, King Xerxes honored Haman son of Hammedatha, the Agagite, elevating him and giving him a seat of honor higher than that of all the other nobles. 3:2 All the royal officials at the king's gate knelt down and paid honor to Haman, for the king had commanded this concerning him. But Mordecai would not kneel down or pay him honor. 3:3 Then the royal officials at the king's

21 에스더 3장 13 이에 그 조서를 역졸에게 맡겨 왕의 각 지방에 보내니 열두째 달 곧 아달월 십삼일 하루 동안에 모든 유다인을 젊은이 늙은이 어린이 여인들을 막론하고 죽이고 도륙하고 진멸하고 또 그 재산을 탈취하라 하였고 3:13 Dispatches were sent by couriers to all the king's provinces with the order to destroy, kill and annihilate all the Jews--young and old, women and little children--on a single day, the thirteenth day of the twelfth month, the month of Adar, and to plunder their goods.

22 에스더 4장 11 왕의 신하들과 왕의 각 지방 백성이 다 알거니와 남녀를 막론하고 부름을 받지 아니하고 안뜰에 들어가서 왕에게 나가면 오직 죽이는 법이요 왕이 그 자에게 금 규를 내밀어야 살 것이라 이제 내가 부름을 입어 왕에게 나가지 못한 지가 이미 삼십 일이라 하라 하니라 4:11 "All the king's officials and the people of the royal provinces know that for any man or woman who approaches the king in the inner court without being summoned the king has but one law: that he be put to death. The only exception to this is for the king to extend the gold scepter to him and spare his life. But thirty days have passed since I was called to go to the king."

23 에스더 5장 1 제삼일에 에스더가 왕후의 예복을 입고 왕궁 안 뜰 곧 어전 맞은편에 서니 왕이 어전에서 전 문을 대하여 왕좌에 앉았다가 2 왕후 에스더가 뜰에 선 것을 본즉 매우 사랑스러우므로 손에 잡았던 금 규를 그에게 내미니 에스더가 가까이 가서 금 규 끝을 만진지라 3 왕이 이르되 왕후 에스더여 그대의 소원이 무엇이며 요구가 무엇이냐 나라의 절반이라도 그대에게 주겠노라 하니 5:1 On the third day Esther put on her royal robes and stood in the inner court of the palace, in front of the king's hall. The king was sitting on his royal throne in the hall, facing the entrance. 5:2 When he saw Queen Esther standing in the court, he was pleased with her and held out to her the gold scepter that was in his hand. So Esther approached and touched the tip of the scepter. 5:3 Then the king asked, "What is it, Queen Esther? What is your request? Even up to half the kingdom, it will be given you."

24 순종 앞에서 두려워하고 갈등하는 것은 나쁜 것이 아니다. 그러나 그럼에도 불구하고 하나님의 말씀 따라 결국 순종하는 것이 믿음이다. 얼굴, 외모의 힘으로 살지말고 에스더처럼 내면의 힘, 마음의 지혜를 가지고 살아가라!!!!!

25 에스더 6장 1 그 날 밤에 왕이 잠이 오지 아니하므로 명령하여 역대 일기를 가져다가 자기 앞에서 읽히더니 2 그 속에 기록하기를 문을 지키던 왕의 두 내시 빅다나와 데레스가 아하수에로 왕을 암살하려는 음모를 모르드개가 고발하였다 하였는지라 3 왕이 이르되 이 일에 대하여 무슨 존귀와 관작을 모르드개에게 베풀었느냐 하니 측근 신하들이 대답하되 아무것도 베풀지 아니하였나이다 하니라 6:1 That night the king could not sleep; so he ordered the book of the chronicles, the record of his reign, to be brought in and read to him. 6:2 It was found recorded there that Mordecai had exposed Bigthana and Teresh, two of the king's officers who guarded the doorway, who had conspired to assassinate King Xerxes. 6:3 "What honor and recognition has Mordecai received for this?" the king asked. "Nothing has been done for him," his attendants answered.

26 에스더 6장 4 왕이 이르되 누가 뜰에 있느냐 하매 마침 하만이 자기가 세운 나무에 모르드개 달기를 왕께 구하고자 하여 왕궁 바깥뜰에 이른지라 5 측근 신하들이 아뢰되 하만이 뜰에 섰나이다 하니 왕이 이르되 들어오게 하라 하니 6 하만이 들어오거늘 왕이 묻되 왕이 존귀하게 하기를 원하는 사람에게 어떻게 하여야 하겠느냐 하만이 심중에 이르되 왕이 존귀하게 하기를 원하시는 자는 나 외에 누구리요 하고 6:4 The king said, "Who is in the court?" Now Haman had just entered the outer court of the palace to speak to the king about hanging Mordecai on the gallows he had erected for him. 6:5 His attendants answered, "Haman is standing in the court." "Bring him in," the king ordered. 6:6 When Haman entered, the king asked him, "What should be done for the man the king delights to honor?" Now Haman thought to himself, "Who is there that the king would rather honor than me?"

27 에스더 6장 7 왕께 아뢰되 왕께서 사람을 존귀하게 하시려면 8 왕께서 입으시는 왕복과 왕께서 타시는 말과 머리에 쓰시는 왕관을 가져다가 9 그 왕복과 말을 왕의 신하 중 가장 존귀한 자의 손에 맡겨서 왕이 존귀하게 하시기를 원하시는 사람에게 옷을 입히고 말을 태워서 성 중 거리로 다니며 그 앞에서 반포하여 이르기를 왕이 존귀하게 하기를 원하시는 사람에게는 이같이 할 것이라 하게 하소서 하니라 6:7 So he answered the king, "For the man the king delights to honor, 6:8 have them bring a royal robe the king has worn and a horse the king has ridden, one with a royal crest placed on its head. 6:9 Then let the robe and horse be entrusted to one of the king's most noble princes. Let them robe the man the king delights to honor, and lead him on the horse through the city streets, proclaiming before him, 'This is what is done for the man the king delights to honor!'"

28 에스더 6장 10 이에 왕이 하만에게 이르되 너는 네 말대로 속히 왕복과 말을 가져다가 대궐 문에 앉은 유다 사람 모르드개에게 행하되 무릇 네가 말한 것에서 조금도 빠짐이 없이 하라 11 하만이 왕복과 말을 가져다가 모르드개에게 옷을 입히고 말을 태워 성 중 거리로 다니며 그 앞에서 반포하되 왕이 존귀하게 하시기를 원하시는 사람에게는 이같이 할 것이라 하니라 6:10 "Go at once," the king commanded Haman. "Get the robe and the horse and do just as you have suggested for Mordecai the Jew, who sits at the king's gate. Do not neglect anything you have recommended." 6:11 So Haman got the robe and the horse. He robed Mordecai, and led him on horseback through the city streets, proclaiming before him, "This is what is done for the man the king delights to honor!"

29 에스더 7장 4 나와 내 민족이 팔려서 죽임과 도륙함과 진멸함을 당하게 되었나이다 만일 우리가 노비로 팔렸더라면 내가 잠잠하였으리이다 그래도 대적이 왕의 손해를 보충하지 못하였으리이다 하니 5 아하수에로 왕이 왕후 에스더에게 말하여 이르되 감히 이런 일을 심중에 품은 자가 누구며 그가 어디 있느냐 하니 6 에스더가 이르되 대적과 원수는 이 악한 하만이니이다 하니 하만이 왕과 왕후 앞에서 두려워하거늘 7:4 For I and my people have been sold for destruction and slaughter and annihilation. If we had merely been sold as male and female slaves, I would have kept quiet, because no such distress would justify disturbing the king.“ 7:5 King Xerxes asked Queen Esther, "Who is he? Where is the man who has dared to do such a thing?“ 7:6 Esther said, "The adversary and enemy is this vile Haman." Then Haman was terrified before the king and queen.

31 핑계와 변명으로 불순종하다가 위기를 만나 죽을 각오를 하기 전에 그 위기에 처하지 않도록 날마다의 삶에서 우리를 부르시는 하나님의 말씀에 순종해야 한다.

32 더 놀라운 사랑과 은혜를 나누는 축복의 통로가 되라!
부림절 에스더의 사건을 기억하며 되새기는 날 순종할 때를 놓치고 만난 위기를 극복하느라고 시간낭비하기 보다 순종해야 할 때 순종해서 오는 기회들을 통해 더 놀라운 사랑과 은혜를 나누는 축복의 통로가 되라!
