1. 참 사람 되신 말씀 하늘의 지혜요 변하지 않는 진리 온 세상 빛이라 그 말씀 성경에서 영원히 비치어 내 길에 등불 되니 늘 찬송하리라 O Word of God incarnate, O Wisdom from on high, O Truth unchanged, unchanging, O Light of our dark sky: we praise you for the radiance that from the hallowed page, a lantern to our footsteps, shines on from age to age.

2. 주께서 세운 교회 이 말씀 받아서 이 귀한 빛을 비춰 온 세상 밝힌다 귀중한 성경 말씀 금 보다 귀하고 주님의 귀한 모습 잘 그려 놓았다 The church from her dear Master received the gift divine, and still that light is lifted o'er all the earth to shine. It is the sacred vessel where gems of truth are stored; it is the heaven-drawn picture of Christ, the living Word.

3. 이 말씀 깃발처럼 드 높이 날리니 어두운 바다 위에 등대와 같도다 이 고해 같은 세상 일평생 지날 때 그 말씀 나의 길에 등불이 되도다 It floateth like a banner before God's host unfurled; it is a shining beacon above the darkling world. It is the chart and compass that o'er life's surging tide, mid mists and rocks and quicksands, Still guides, O Christ, to Thee.

4. 주님의 몸 된 교회 빛나는 등 되어 이 세상 만민 앞에 비추게 하소서 저 방황하는 길 손 이 등불 따라서 주 얼굴 볼 때까지 가게 하소서 아멘 O make Thy church, dear Savior, a lamp of purest gold, to bear before the nations your true light as of old. O teach your wandering pilgrims by this their path to trace, till, clouds and darkness ended, they see Thee face to face.
