1 주 앞에 성찬 받기 위하여 이 죄인 감히 나아 옵니다
Not worthy, Lord, to gather up the crumbs with trembling hands that from thy table fall,

2 주 공로 믿고 떨며 나오니 내 죄를 용서하여 주소서
A weary, heavy laden sinner comes to plead thy promise and obey thy call.

3 죄 길로 나가 방황했으나 주 앞에 감히 돌아 옵니다
I am not worthy to be thought thy child, nor sit the last and lowest at thy board;

4 자녀 될 자격 내게 없어도 주 나를 용납하여 주소서
too long a wanderer and too oft beguiled; I only ask one reconciling word.

5 한번만 주의 음성 들어도 그 말씀 내게 능력 되어서 One word from thee, my Lord, one smile,
one look, and I could face the cold rough world again;

6 이 세상 마귀 유혹 이기고 원수의 비방 막게 됩니다 and with that treasure in my heart could
brook the wrath of devils and the scorn of men.

7 온유한 주의 음성 듣고서 죄인은 와서 쉬 임 얻으며 I hear thy voice; thou bidd'st me
come and rest; I come, I kneel, I clasp thy pierced feet,

8 성도들 함께 참여하여서 베푸신 잔치 먹게 됩니다
thou bidd'st me take my place, a welcome guest, among thy saints, and of thy banquet eat.

9 기도와 찬송 주께 드리고 주님의 떡과 잔을 받으니
My praise can only breathe itself in prayer, my prayer can only lose itself in thee;

10 내 맘에 주여 들어오셔서 주 말씀 따라 살게 하소서 아멘 dwell thou forever in my heart,
and there, Lord, let me sup with thee; sup thou with me.
