24 Analysis Module Calculate the performance measurement metric with the collected data Insert parsed measurement metric into database Reporting to diagnosis module or network manager Throughput Utilization Link error Available bandwidth DB Data Collection Module Diagnosis Module Analysis Module 분석모듈의 두 가지 기능 데이터 수집 모듈로부터 4가지 metric에 대한 정보를 얻어 DB에 값을 저장 Throughput, Utilization, Link error에 대해 각각의 설정된 임계치와 비교하여 높으면 -> 원인을 찾기 위해 진단 모듈로… 낮으면 -> 네트워크 관리자에게 단순 통보… Threshold < Load Threshold > Load Network Manager

25 Diagnosis Module For the detection of abnormal situations via the observation of the network The various conditions C1: Outgoing overload : concentrated traffics from a node C2: Incoming overload : concentrated traffics towards a node C3: multicast/broadcast : The traffic which is not notified to the network manager C4: Link error : abnormal physical error Reporting a diagnosis result to network manager 원인 분석을 위해 4가지 조건 사례로 규정 비정상적인 망(설정된 임계치보다 높은 망)에 연결된 두 노드 중에 문제가 되는 노드를 찾고자 SNMP MIB정보를 이용하여 C1과 C2 조사를 통해 문제가 되는 노드를 찾는다. 또한, 문제가 되는 노드에서 MIB정보를 이용하여 C3와 같은 트래픽양을 알아 볼 수 있으며, C4는 에러율을 통해 알아 볼 수 있다. 이러한 진단 결과를 네트워크 관리자에게 보고한다.
