3 Drafting이란? CATIA에서 2D 도면을 생성하기 위한 기능, 또는 그러한 기능 등을 모아 놓은 Workbench
3D Model을 이용하여 2D 도면을 생성하는 Generative Drafting과 2D 도면을 직접 생성하는 Interactive Drafting으로 나눈다.

4 General Process of Drafting
3D Model 생성 2D View 생성 새로운 View나 보조도 생성 치수 및 공차 생성 중심선, 숨은선, 해칭선 등을 표시

5 Define Projections CATIA V5에서는 그림과 같이 7가지의 Projections type을
About Projections CATIA V5에서는 그림과 같이 7가지의 Projections type을 이용하여 2D View를 생성할 수 있다.

6 Projections Front View Front View는 3D Solid Model의 정면도를 생성
각 Part에서 Line과 Plane은 반드시 서로 수직이어야 한다.

8 Projections Advanced Front View
Front View는 3D Solid Model의 정면도를 생성하는 명령어로서 View의 스케일 및 이름을 지정하여 정면도를 생성 View Parameter dialog box에서 먼저 View name과 Scale을 지정한 후 정면도를 생성한다.

10 Projections Projection View 생성된 2D 정면도를 기준으로 하여 측면도나 평면도를 생성하는 명령어
정면도를 중심으로 위 방향이나 아래 방향으로 드래그 할 경우 각각 평면도 와 배면도, 좌측이나 우측으로 드래그하여 생성할 경우 각각 좌측면도와 우측면도가 생성된다.

Isometric View는 3D와 동일한 2D View를 생성. 즉, 평면 View가 아닌 입체적인 View를 생성

Aligned Sections View는 3D Model에 대해 연속적인 Line을 생성하고 이용 하여 단면도를 생성

Aligned Sections Cut은 3D Model에 대해 기준선을 생성하고 이를 이용하 여 절단된 단면도를 생성 Offset Sections View 와는 달리 내부가 비어 있는 부분은 View상에 나타나 지 않는다.

Aligned Sections Cut은 3D Model에 대해 연속적인 Line을 생성하고 이를 이용하여 단면도를 생성 Aligned Sections View 와는 달리 내부가 비어 있는 부분은 View상에 나타나 지 않는다.
