Sermon ( 설교 ) “For God So Loved the World” 하나님이 세상을 무척 사랑하사 Luke( 누가복음 ) 10:25-37 (Part of the “New” Series) (“ 새로움 ” 시리즈의 일부 ) Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. (Romans 12:2)

God had a mission when He created the universe. 하나님이 우주 만물을 창조하셨을 때 목적이 있었다 God had a mission when He created all the animals, all living things including humans, Adam and Eve 하나님이 모든 생명체를 만드셨을 때 목적이 있었다 God had a mission when He sent Jesus to die for our sins 하나님이 우리의 죄를 위해 예수님을 보내셨을 때 목적이 있었다 God still has that mission today. 오늘도 하나님은 그 목적을 갖고 계신다.

짝 사랑 (One sided Love) Jesus did this for us

People in the Kingdom 하나님 나라의 백성 Sinners like you and me

Inside out, not outside in! 우린 이렇게 거룩한데, 왜 사람들이 안 올까 ? We are so holy, I wonder why people aren’t coming. 하나님이 나를 내 모습 그대로 사랑하는 것처럼, 나도 사람들 있는 그대로 사랑을 해야겠다 Because God loves me just as I am, I will go out to love people from where they are

1Corinthians ( 고전 ) 9: For though I am free from all, I have made myself a servant to all, that I might win more of them. 20 To the Jews I became as a Jew, in order to win Jews. To those under the law I became as one under the law (though not being myself under the law) that I might win those under the law. 19 나는 아무에게도 매이지 않았으나 더 많은 사람을 얻으려고 스스로 모든 사람의 종이 되었습니다. 20 유대인에게 내가 유대인처럼 된 것은 유대인들을 얻기 위해서이며 율법 아래 있는 사람들에게는 내가 율법 아래 있지 않으면서도 그들처럼 된 것은 율법 아래 있는 사람들을 얻기 위해서입니다.

1Corinthians ( 고전 ) 9: To those outside the law I became as one outside the law (not being outside the law of God but under the law of Christ) that I might win those outside the law 21 내가 하나님의 율법을 떠난 것이 아닙니다. 그리스도의 법 아래 있으면서도 내가 율법 없는 이방인들에게 율법 없는 사람과 같이 된 것은 율법 없는 이방인들을 얻기 위해서입니다.

1Corinthians ( 고전 ) 9: To the weak I became weak, that I might win the weak. I have become all things to all people, that by all means I might save some. 23I do it all for the sake of the gospel, that I may share with them in its blessings. 22 또 믿음이 약한 사람들에게는 내가 믿음이 약한 사람처럼 되어 그들을 얻으려고 하였습니다. 이와 같이 내가 모든 사람들에게 그들과 같은 사람이 된 것은 어떻게 해서든지 다만 몇 사람이라도 구원하기 위해서였습니다. 23 내가 기쁜 소식을 위해 이 모든 일을 하는 것은 그 축복에 함께 참여하기 위한 것입니다.

하나님의 목적 (God’s Mission) 하나님의 목적과 우리의 목적이 하나가 되길 바랍니다. May our purpose be one with God’s purpose 서로를 향하기를 to be To One Another 하나님의 사랑을 우리의 말과 행동으로 알 수 있도록 That they may know of God’s love for them through our words and action

Picture This 전도 (Witnessing) 선교 (Missions) How would you do it?

How shall we serve the people? How about other ministries? PC Bang/Video Game Ministries Golf/Tennis/Soccer Ministries Media Ministries Etc. Why we do it To meet the recluse, the wo(men) who lock themselves at home because they feel they are too fat, undervalued, etc. the weak, the poor, the people who are left out, the people without jobs, etc. To meet them where they are, to love them, to accept them, to let them see the love of Jesus through us.
