Dear Cherished Students, Parents, and VIP Guests: I would like to thank those who are here tonight to participate in our Korean School Presentation. I am very happy to be a part of it. I am grateful to be able to watch the children achieve their dreams and learn about their Korean culture in America. And I am also very proud to watch them perform today. I would like to say thank you to vice principal Grace Kim and all the dedicated teachers who taught the students with ardent enthusiasm and fervor and made this event happen tonight.

11 축 사 Congratulatory Remarks
On behalf of the board of directors, I am deeply appreciative to Vice Principal Kim with her leadership and passion for Korean school despite the many adversities and difficulties that occur with any school functions. As we gather to enjoy the performance tonight, I would like to give a big round of applause to all the performing students. Lastly, I ask that parents give your children a chance to learn the Korean language and culture even if an immigrant’s life might be tough.

God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. 하나님 보시기에 아주 아주 좋았죠 (첫째날) God saw the light, and saw that it was good (1st Day) 물이 나뉘고 하늘있으라 God said, “Let there be an expanse in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. God called the expanse sky. 하나님 보시기에 아주 아주 좋았죠(둘쨋날) God saw that it was good (2nd Day)

Land, Seas, herbs yielding seed, and bearing fruit 하나님 보시기에 아주 아주 좋았죠 (셋째날) God saw that it was good (3rd Day) 낮의 태양과 밤의 달과 별 The light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night. He also made the stars 하나님 보시기에 아주 좋았죠(넷째날) God saw that it was good(4th Day)

하늘의 새와 바다 물고기 Every bird of the sky and the sea creatures 하나님 보시기에 아주 아주 좋았죠(다섯째날) God saw that it was good (5th Day) 모든 동물과 아담과 하와 Every animal of the earth and Adam, Eve 하나님 보시기에 아주 아주 좋았죠(여섯째날) God saw that it was good (6th Day)

32 우주와 만물 창조 마치고 하나님 즐거웁게 안식하셨죠(일곱째날) 온 세상을 창조하신 우리 하나님 라라라 라라라라 라 찬양합니다.
The heavens and the earth were finished 하나님 즐거웁게 안식하셨죠(일곱째날) God rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made (7th Day) 온 세상을 창조하신 우리 하나님 God had created and made everything 라라라 라라라라 라 찬양합니다. Ra~ra~ra Praise the Lord!

The activities the students have been preparing have come to an end. They worked hard on this presentation and I am very proud of them. Beginning from 2010, we have reached our 7th annual presentation. The teachers and I have been praying to improve and have our audience enjoy the program a little more each year. We expect for our students to build up their confidence and be able to develop their self expression skills when they get off the stage.

I will now introduce the teachers, drivers, lunch staff, and volunteers who have helped out throughout the year. The lunch staff work very hard to prepare lunch every week to serve to the students and staff. They have even put in extra consideration in creating menus for children who are picky eaters. The drivers who tirelessly drive students back and forth from school safely and make sure students enjoy the ride. 급식부: 지정선, 박미선, 서난식, 김윤진, 김정희, 정인순, 박정기 수송부: 김윤복, Todd Mericle

And the teachers who put in all their effort to teach our students. When I think about our teachers and look back at the year, I feel grateful of how much we have been blessed. All of our teachers were new when we started off this school year in fall of Furthermore, I had no idea of their character or personality and so on. The only thing I knew was that they were willing to teach for our kids at Korean school.  But it didn’t take too long to find out how wonderful they are. I am amazed at our teachers who have been serving in the ministry for the past year. Korean school is very tough and not easy to do but they have worked so well.  I can tell that God works in them by continually giving them the strength to keep up and make things happen.  Our teachers are great, but God, who works in them, is greater. We are grateful to be used by God for his glory 김경선, 서현태, 정승남, 김태연, 우민, 이남경, 강자회, 이강우, 제니라이스, 칼린 필리포 We are truly thankful to our board of directors for providing continual financial support and also being present here today to cheer us on.
