2 모든 수술 환자는 수술 전에 Albumin을 검사한다.
수술환자의 6.33%인 3430명이 영양결핍으로 albumin이 27g/L이하 였다. 이들에게 수술 전에 TPN을 하여 수술 후 부작용을 51%에서 33.6%로 줄일 수 있었다. 이로 인하여 병상 일수를 줄이고 환자 1인 당 U$ 225를 줄일 수 있었다.

5 임상병리검사의 성격(1) 임상병리 검사는 의료 행위이다. 검사 의뢰는 환자가 하는 것이다. 검체는 환자다.
결과는 궁극적으로 환자에게 통보하는 것이다.

6 임상병리검사의 성격(2) 일체의 검사는 의사의 의뢰 임상병리전문의 추가 의뢰로 검사 실시
일체의 검사는 의사의 의뢰 임상병리전문의 추가 의뢰로 검사 실시 검사업무는 임상병리과 과장의 책임하에 처리된다. 과장이 부적당한 검사라고 판단한 경우에는 의뢰한 의사와 협의 후 검사 취소
