9 What Are the Legal Issues?
합법적인 금지 조항은 없지만 bulk mail을 보내고자 하는 의지를 저지할 수 있는 법적 규제 및 요소가 있음. ISP업체가 bulk mail을 금하거나 제한 에 적용하고 있는 법에 해당사항이 있으면 법적으로 기소됨. Ex. “truth in headers”법: header information날조 금지. fraudulent Federal Trade Commission 관할 Spammer가 다른 사람의 주소를 return address로 사용함으로써 당하는 피해에 대해 법적 근거를 마련하자는 제안이 있음.
