SCI와 JCR(IF)는 다른 정보원 SCI = 특정논문에 대한 인용상황 JCR(IF)=학술지의 권위도
SCI는 일반 초록형태의 DB와 마찬가지로 서지정보와 초록정보도 있지만 참고문헌의 Reference정보를 추가 가공하여 만든 Citation Index이고, IF는 JCR(Journal Citation Report)에 수록된 Citation관련 정보 중 인용빈도에 대한 자료를 재가공한 것입니다 흔히 SCI와 IF는 같은 것인줄 알지만 두가지 정보원은 같은 ISI사의 엄연히 다른 정보원입니다.
