[개회식] 기조연설 [Opening Ceremony] Keynote Speeches 제주포럼 조직위원회 Jeju Forum Organizing Committee 분야_ 외교안보 일시_ 5월29일(목) 10:30~11:30 회의장_ 그랜드볼룸 Grand Ballroom 언어_ 한/영/중/일 아시아는 세계경제를 견인하는 성장엔진으로 부상하였지만, 영토분쟁, 역사갈등, 북핵 위기 등으로 역내 평화와 안보는 계속 위협받고 있다. ‘아시아 패러독스’라고 불리는 이러한 현상은 ‘舊 아시아’의 잔재이다. 개회식 기조연설을 통해서 아시아-태평양 지역의 지도자들은, 성장과 번영이 평화와 안보와 함께 하는 ‘새로운 아시아’의 비전을 밝힐 것이다. 이들의 비전이 갖는 함의와 그 실현하는 구체적 방안들은 ‘세계지도자 세션‘에서 논의될 것이다. Although Asia has emerged as growth engine for the world economy, its regional peace and security has been under constant threat due to territorial disputes, historic issues, North Korea’s nuclear tests. Under these circumstances, so called “Asian Paradox” can be regarded as the remnants of the Asia in the past.
