5 TOEIC이란?

6 What Is TOEIC? Test of English International Communication
It is a standardized, paper-and-pencil test given to non-native English speakers. It only tests two skills: Listening and Reading. Your score is recognized around the world. You could get up to 990 points It tests your listening and reading skills through a range of authentic(real-life) tasks.

7 Test Format 45 minutes long.
After it has started, the listening segment won’t be stopped or played again. Skills tested: Understanding vocabulary in context Understanding English idioms in context Understanding grammar usage

8 Test Format Part 1: Photos You have to see photographs and hear four sentences describing the photos to choose the best one. * Part 2: Questions-Response You have to listen to a prompt and choose the best response. Questions and answers are spoken only.

9 Test Format Part 3: Conversations You have to listen to 10 conversations with 3 questions each between two speakers. After each, you will answer questions that might be either printed on the test or just recorded on tape Part 4: Short Talks Listen to 10 talks with 3 questions each between two people talking about office issues, or individuals giving a news report or other information.

Looking at each other, facing each other- 마주보고 있다면 정답 2. 손 흔드는(waving)사진 Waiting 기다리다, shaking hands 악수하다 3. 등장인물이 걷고(walking) 있을 때 Running/ jogging 뛰고 있다, standing 서 있다, waiting 기다리고 있다. 4. 기타, 사진상 판단이 애매한 경우 주관적 추측으로 답을 하면 안된다. 자판기 앞에 서 있는 사진이라고 하여 동전을 찾고 있다 (looking for some coins), 목이 마르다(is thirsty) 등 추측성 대답은 정답이 될 수 없다.

41 사진묘사3 1. 옷차림 표현 이미 착용을 한상태인지 착용을 하는 건지 확인 Take on/off, put on/off, trying on(옷 가게에서 옷을 입어보다) 2. ~ 하기 위해서 표현 A girl id going to bed for some sleep. 침대에 가는 것이 확실히 그림상으로 목적이 보이지 않을 때는 추측해서 풀지 않기 3. 주관적 감정 표현 방안에 히터가 있다고 해서 그 방이 무조건 Warm 하다고 단정 지을 수 없다. 이제 막 피웠거나 여전히 추울 가능성도 있음.
