Use a form of “to be” + verb + ing to show that an action is happening right now, at this moment.
Ex: You are listening to an English lecture. To Be (동) 이다 단수 복수 1인칭 I am We are 2인칭 You are You/You guys are 3인칭 He is/She is/It is They are Present Progressive

We use “present simple” to talk about something that happens regularly.
Ex: I wake up at 6:00 every day. I eat fish, but I don’t eat meat. Present Simple

When you talk about your current habit, use present simple with words like always, usually, often, sometimes, never. Ex: I always watch TV with the lights off. Ex: I never use my cell phone on the subway. Present Simple

Present Simple Usually, the adverb comes before the verb:
Ex: I always take my bag to school. However, the adverb comes after the verb “to be”: Ex: I am always late to school. This rule is important! Present Simple

Play a game: Charades Step 1: Every group needs 16 pieces of paper. Give the pieces of paper to different group members. Step 2: Split into two teams (ex: 2 people and 3 people). Step 3: Each group member writes a verb and an object. Ex: watch TV, play violin, eat ramyeon Step 4: One team acts out their verb, and the other team has to guess what verb they are doing. Use the PRESENT PROGRESSIVE tense. Ex: Are you _______ing a _________? Ex: Yes, I’m _______ing a __________. Ex: No, I’m not _______ing a ________.
