NCAP(Network Capable Application Processor) 1451 드라이버를 통해 TIM에 접속 Ethernet, TCP, IP 를 통해 바깥의 다른 Network에 접속 TIM (Transducer Interface Module) TEDS, the actual transducers, data converters, addressing logic, control logic 로 구성 255 개의 독립적 transducers 포함

메모리 형태로 트랜스듀서 특성을 기술하는 데이터 시트 상호운영성을 제공하는 핵심 ( 메커니즘과 정보형식의 표준을 제공) Meta-TEDS(NCAP과의 통신정보)와 Channel-TEDS(Detailed Information of Specific Tranducer)는 의무적 모든 다른 TEDS 데이터 블록은 선택적으로 포함

Conclusion TEDS, Transducer independent interface 등 key concept이 만들어졌다. Remainder들은 이 concept들이 어떻게 유용하게 쓰일것인지 고려하라.

프로젝트와의 연관성 우리 조의 프로젝트 주제는 ‘Bluetooth와 ZigBee의 성능 비교’이다.
비교를 할 때 공통된 Interface를 통해 비교를 수행하면 더욱 신뢰성이 있을 것으로 생각 하지만, 표준안이 나온지 얼마 되지 않았기 때문에 IEEE1451을 이용한 Solution이 별로 없어서 안타깝다.
