1 저 장미꽃 위에 이슬 아직 맺혀있는 그 때에 I come to the garden alone While the dew is still on the roses

2 귀에 은은히 소리 들리니 주 음성 분명하다 And the voice I hear falling on my ear The Son of God discloses

3 주가 나와 동행을 하면서 나를 친구 삼으셨네 And He walks with me, and He talks with me And He tells me I am His own

4 우리 서로 받은 그 기쁨은 알 사람이 없도다 And the joy we share as we tarry there None other has ever known

5 그 청아한 주의 음성 울던 새도 잠잠케 한다 He speaks, and the sound of His voice Is so sweet the birds hush their singing

6 내게 들리던 주의 음성이 늘 귀에 쟁쟁하다 And the melody that He gave to me Within my heart is ringing

7 주가 나와 동행을 하면서 나를 친구 삼으셨네 And He walks with me, and He talks with me And He tells me I am His own

8 우리 서로 받은 그 기쁨은 알 사람이 없도다 And the joy we share as we tarry there None other has ever known

9 밤 깊도록 동산 안에 주와 함께 있으려 하나 I’d stay in the garden with Him Though the night around me be falling

10 괴론 세상에 할 일 많아서 날 가라 명하신다 But He bids me go; through the voice of woe His voice to me is calling.
