He will cause astounding devastation and will succeed in whatever he does. He will destroy the mighty men and the holy people. 8:25 He will cause deceit to prosper, and he will consider himself superior. When they feel secure, he will destroy many and take his stand against the Prince of princes. Yet he will be destroyed, but not by human power.

아주 세밀한 역사에 대한 것이 아니라 개략적인 굵직한 역사의 흐름에 대한 것이다. 8:26 이미 말한 바 주야에 대한 환상은 확실하니 너는 그 환상을 간직하라 이는 여러 날 후(300년후)의 일임이라 하더라 8:27 이에 나 다니엘이 지쳐서 여러 날 앓다가 일어나서 왕의 일을 보았느니라 내가 그 환상으로 말미암아 놀랐고 그 뜻을 깨닫는 사람도 없었느니라 8:26 "The vision of the evenings and mornings that has been given you is true, but seal up the vision, for it concerns the distant future.“ 8:27 I, Daniel, was exhausted and lay ill for several days. Then I got up and went about the king's business. I was appalled by the vision; it was beyond understanding. 다니엘이 보는 환상은 아주 세밀한 역사에 대한 것이 아니라 개략적인 굵직한 역사의 흐름에 대한 것이다.

체험이 없다고 연약한 믿음이라 말하지 말라. 하나님의 말씀도 모르고 체험하는 사람들이 더 위험하고 그릇된 함정에 빠질 사람들이다. 지금 하나님의 말씀을 바르게 알아가고 있음에도 불구하고 아무런 마음의 감동이 없어도 그 길이 옳은 것이다.

9:21 곧 내가 기도할 때에 이전에 환상 중에 본 그 사람 가브리엘이 빨리 날아서 저녁 제사를 드릴 때 즈음에 내게 이르더니 9:22 내게 가르치며 내게 말하여 이르되 다니엘아 내가 이제 네게 지혜와 총명을 주려고 왔느니라 9:21 while I was still in prayer, Gabriel, the man I had seen in the earlier vision, came to me in swift flight about the time of the evening sacrifice. 9:22 He instructed me and said to me, "Daniel, I have now come to give you insight and understanding.

Therefore, consider the message and understand the vision: 9:24 "Seventy 'sevens' are decreed for your people and your holy city to finish transgression, to put an end to sin, to atone for wickedness, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy and to anoint the most holy.

In the middle of the 'seven' he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And on a wing of the temple he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him." 7:25 그가 장차 지극히 높으신 이를 말로 대적하며 또 지극히 높으신 이의 성도를 괴롭게 할 것이며 그가 또 때와 법을 고치고자 할 것이며 성도들은 그의 손에 붙인 바 되어 한 때와 두 때와 반 때를 지내리라 7:25 He will speak against the Most High and oppress his saints and try to change the set times and the laws. The saints will be handed over to him for a time, times and half a time.

다니엘의 환상들은 우리에게나 종말론적 시기에 해당되는 것이 아니라 하나님께서 예수 그리스도로 말미암아 영원한 하나님의 나라인 교회를 세우는 것, 새 언약을 성취하는 것에 해당되는 내용들이다.

하나님의 마음을 알 때까지 말씀에 꾸준히 집중하라. 10:1 바사 왕 고레스 제삼년에 한 일이 벨드사살이라 이름한 다니엘에게 나타났는데 그 일이 참되니 곧 큰 전쟁에 관한 것이라 다니엘이 그 일을 분명히 알았고 그 환상을 깨달으니라 10:2 그 때에 나 다니엘이 세 이레 동안을 슬퍼하며 10:3 세 이레가 차기까지 좋은 떡을 먹지 아니하며 고기와 포도주를 입에 대지 아니하며 또 기름을 바르지 아니하니라 10:1 In the third year of Cyrus king of Persia, a revelation was given to Daniel (who was called Belteshazzar). Its message was true and it concerned a great war. The understanding of the message came to him in a vision. 10:2 At that time I, Daniel, mourned for three weeks. 10:3 I ate no choice food; no meat or wine touched my lips; and I used no lotions at all until the three weeks were over. 절제를 위해 굶지 말고 하나님의 뜻을 알기 위해 절제하며 하나님의 마음을 알 때까지 말씀에 꾸준히 집중하라.

신앙을 위해 가정에서의 역할을 팽개치고, 또는 직업(학업)을 팽개치고 하라는 것이 아니라 내게 주어진 삶의 현장, 직업(학업)의 현장에서 빛된 백성답게 최선을 다하되 삶을 절제하고 주님의 마음을 알고자 하는 일에 집중하는 집중력있는 삶을 살아야 한다.

10:7 이 환상을 나 다니엘이 홀로 보았고 나와 함께 한 사람들은 이 환상은 보지 못하였어도 그들이 크게 떨며 도망하여 숨었느니라 10:7 I, Daniel, was the only one who saw the vision; the men with me did not see it, but such terror overwhelmed them that they fled and hid themselves. 10:12 그가 내게 이르되 다니엘아 두려워하지 말라 네가 깨달으려 하여 네 하나님 앞에 스스로 겸비하게 하기로 결심하던 첫날부터 네 말이 응답 받았으므로 내가 네 말로 말미암아 왔느니라 10:12 Then he continued, "Do not be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day that you set your mind to gain understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to them.

10:14 이제 내가 마지막 날에 네 백성이 당할 일을 네게 깨닫게 하러 왔노라 이는 이 환상이 오랜 후의 일임이라 하더라 10:14 Now I have come to explain to you what will happen to your people in the future, for the vision concerns a time yet to come."

그러나 반드시 세계는 하나님의 말씀대로 이루어진다는 것을 기억하자. 다니엘서의 예언들을 통해… 당장 눈에는 악이 승리하는 것처럼 보이지만 그러나 반드시 세계는 하나님의 말씀대로 이루어진다는 것을 기억하자. 하나님께서 꿈과 환상을 주시는 목적… 모든 세계는 눈에 보이는 것을 따라 흘러가지 않고 반드시 하나님의 뜻대로 흘러가게 된다는 것을 알게 하심이다.
