C C2 C3 C1 C C2 C3 C1 C1 C 항체 CDR Variable (V) scFv Constant region Fab 생물체는 외부로부터 침입해 오는 병원균을 특이적으로 인식하여 이에 대응하는 체계로 면역계를 발달시켜왔음 이처럼 외부로부터 병원체 등 이물질이 들어오면 이것에 대항하는 물질이 만들어지는데 이를 항체라 한다. 항체는 4개의 폴리펩타이드로 되어 있는데 2개의 길다란 H사슬과 2개의 짧은 L 사슬이 disulfide bond로 연결되어 Y 모양을 하고 있음. 각 사슬의 말단에 있는 변이부는 항원을 찾아 결합하는 부위로 항체마다 다름. 변이부 아래에는 같은 부류에 속하는 항체끼리는 똑같은 불변부가 있음 항체의 생성 과정:항원이 몸에 들어오면 B세포는 항원을 인식하고 항원과 결합하고 이어서 활발한 세포분열을 일으켜 그 수를 늘린다. 그 뒤 늘어난 림프구는 그 항원에 대한 항체를 생성할 수 있는 형질세포로 분화되어 다량의 항체를 생성함 항체는 특정한 항원하고만 결합하는 특이성이 있는데 이를 항원-항체 반응의 특이성이라 함.
