▶ ( 비교급을 배워볼까요? ) ‘My husband is older than I am~’ ‘That is much better,’ ♥「The Foolish Wives 」이야기에 자주 등장했던 표현이죠?비교급은 어떤 것 두 개를 비교할 때 쓰는 것을 말해요. ♥ 비교급 형용사나 부사 뒤에 <-er>을 붙이거나, 형용사나 부사 앞에 more를 붙여서 <∼보다 더∼한>이라는 뜻으로, 비교급 뒤에는 <than(∼보다)>을 붙여 비교하는 대상을 그 뒤에 두는 거죠~ 아래 표로 정리해 볼까요? 형용사 부 사 A + <be동사 + ∼er than> + R <A는 B보다 더 ∼하다> A + <일반동사 + ∼er than> + B <A는 B보다 더∼하다> next

▶ (비교급, 만들어볼까요 ?) ♥ 원 급 (원래의 형용사·부사)에 <-er>를 붙이는 것
tall - taller large - larger big - bigger happy - happier ♥ more를 붙이는 것 careful - more careful (-ful, -ous, -less인 형용사) beautiful - more beautiful (3음절 이상의 형용사) quickly - more quickly (-ly인 부사) <주의> early는 예외 : early - earlier next
