프레젠테이션 을 위한 준비된 내용의 개요 정리    There are two different ways in which you can outline the prepared remarks for your presentation : by using index cards and by using a script. The primary difference between these approaches is that with index cards you generally just use main ideas and then elaborate on them in an extemporaneous fashion during the presentation, and a script allows you to have every word of your presentation in front of you. Even if you choose the index-card approach, you should still write out and rehearse your entire presentation in advance. After you have written the complete presentation, you can then use between five and ten index cards to outline it, and remember to number the cards so that you can keep them in order. It is best to list only one or two key points per card. You should write only on the front of each card, and you may also want to color-code or highlight the most important points so that you remember to emphasize them. In general, you should try to write only notes and key phrases, not complete sentences, on your index cards; however, if you are planning to use a s pecific  quotation or motto during your presentation, it is a good idea to write it out in full on one of your cards. If you prefer to use a written script rather than index cards for your presentation, there are several ways in which you can make the script easier to read. First, type your script in a large font and double-space the lines. In addition, use bolding and underlining to highlight the text you want to emphasize. You should also paginate the script by putting each number at the top of the page, not at the bottom. The another best way to prepare for a business presentation is to rehearse it in front of one of your colleagues. However, if you are not able to do this, try rehearsing in front of a mirror at home.

Lecture 02 Approaching Your Presentation with a Positive Attitude. 항공 관광 면접 영어 5주 2강 개요 Chapter 05 Preparing for a Presentation Lecture 02 Approaching Your Presentation with a Positive Attitude. 긍정적인 마음으로 프레젠테이션 접근하기 When you are required to deliver a business presentation, the attitude that you take into the presentation will go a long way to determining whether your presentation will be successful. If you approach your presentation with a positive attitude, your audience will be more responsive to it and will be more likely to be persuaded by what you are saying. However, if you approach your presentation with a negative attitude, your audience will be able to sense this, and the presentation will be much less likely to be successful. How, then, can you develop a positive attitude to take into your presentation ? First, remember that a positive attitude is a result of good preparation, so you should rehearse your presentation as much as possible in advance. Spend some time visualizing how you want the presentation to go, and try to anticipate the questions you may be asked by the audience. It is important for you to understand that the audience will usually be on your  side; they want you to succeed as much as you do. They are also interested in what you have to say; otherwise, they would not be there. Nervousness can be caused by fatigue, so make sure to get enough sleep the night before your presentation. Of course, it is natural to feel somewhat nervous before any presentation, but you can utilize this nervousness to add extra positive energy to your presentation. Remember that during your presentation you should attempt to appear enthusiastic and sincere, but not overconfident. The first time you give a presentation, it will probably be a major challenge for you to overcome your nervousness; however, the more presentations you give, the easier each presentation will become. If you are delivering a presentation in another city, it is best to arrive at least one day early so that you can get acclimated to the city and also preview the room where the presentation is going to be held. Becoming acquainted with this unfamiliar environment will help you alleviate some of your nervousness about the presentation

무덤덤한 청중 자극하기 It is sometimes difficult to predict whether an audience will be responsive to a business presentation. Remember, though, that you may not be entirely responsible if your audience seems bored, restless, or hostile. They may have just come inside from the pouring rain, they may be preoccupied with other issues, or they may just want to go home for the day. Therefore, it is a good idea to arrive at the location of your presentation a bit early so that you can judge the mood of your audience. In addition, if there is a presentation scheduled just before yours, you may want to take the time to attend that presentation. This is a good way for you to preview your audience and to see how they are reacting to the presenter. If the audience at your presentation seems somewhat lethargic, you will need to use an interactive approach to help stimulate them. This means that instead of just reading your prepared text, you should use specific questions directed to your audience to get them involved in the presentation. Many members of your audience will probably be eager to offer their opinions on the issue you are discussing, but they may feel reluctant to do so because they do not want to interrupt your presentation. You should make it clear to them that you welcome their comments and questions, and you can do this simply by asking “Are there any questions?” or “Would anyone care to comment?” Using humor during a presentation can help you to connect with an audience, and this is especially important when the audience you are facing may be hostile to what you are saying. Audiences generally respond to humorous comments that help lighten the mood at a presentation, especially if you offer a well-timed joke at the very beginning of the presentation. Of course, any time you utilize humor in a bespond tcontext you need to make sure that you will not offend anyone, and the bet youy to do this is to use yourself as the subject of your humor. A self-directed joke will demonstrate to the audience that you are Comfortable with them and are also confident in what you are saying. Thus, it is a good idea to prepare some humorous comments in advance of your presentation so that you can use them to stimulate the audience if it does not seem to be responding to your prepared text. If you make frequent eye contact with your audience, it will encourage them to give you their full attention.
