Sample Answer I think this photo was taken in a roadside diner. The first thing I can see is the waitress taking the order from the man. On the left is the waitress dressed in a red apron and while sweater. In the middle of the picture is a wooden table with coffee mugs and placemat. On the right, the elder man in a back leather vest is making his order. In the background, you can also see some of the other customers, including two elderly women. It might be fall or winter since the waitress and many of the customers are wearing a light sweater. It looks like this diner is not very popular for teenagers.

Sample Answer I think this photo was taken at an outdoor café or restaurant. The first thing I can see is that many people are relaxing and chatting with each other. On the left are a group of four people, dressed casually, and they are seated at a table with empty glasses. There is a restaurant menu next to the folding doors. In the front, there is a man in beige slacks and a white shirt. Beside the man you can see a backpack on one chair. In the background, you can also see the inside of the restaurant and other customers. It’s probably spring or summer because people are wearing short- sleeved shirts and miniskirts. It looks like the people are relaxing and chatting with their friends outdoors.

Sample Answer In this picture, there are some people in the subway. I can see a man who is standing on the right. He is looking at his cell phone. Maybe he is reading a text message. He has put his hair in a ponytail and is wearing glasses. Next to him, a woman is standing with her arm resting on the bar. She seems very tired. Another man is reading a document. He looks quite serious. I guess he has to read it for his work. In the background, I can see other people sitting on the seats. I think the picture was taken in the evening because people appear to be tired. Overall, I don’t like this picture because it makes me feel tired, too.

On the left is the father, who is wearing a sweatshirt and pushing the baby in the stroller. In the middle of the picture is the wife holding onto her toddler son. Next to the mother is her son, dressed in navy sweatpants and wearing sunglasses . In the background, you can also see grass and tall trees. In is probably summer, since the sun is bright and everyone is wearing sunglasses. It looks like the family is having a nice time relaxing in the park.
